Under the guidance of Nicholas Cardoza’s keen insight and unwavering dedication, this transaction nearly met the vessel’s asking price of $464,000. In the vast expanse of the sea, the 2019 Intrepid 407 'JUICE' stands as a beacon of luxury and adventure, captivating yachting enthusiasts worldwide with its meticulous craftsmanship and versatility in day-cruising, saltwater fishing, and freshwater pursuits. Now, under my discerning guidance, 'JUICE' embarks on a new journey with its proud new owners, John and Nicole.
This sale, while one of the smallest I've ever handled, proved to be one of the most challenging and rewarding displays of pure salesmanship. The buyer initially offered $300k shortly after I listed the vessel. Despite numerous back-and-forth negotiations, including a face-to-face meeting at a boat show, he remained adamant about the price, even refusing to see the boat in person unless the price was dropped.
However, I was determined to showcase the value of this deal. I convinced him to visit the boat at my house, despite the less-than-ideal rainy weather for boat sales. Upon inspecting the vessel, it became evident that this was indeed the best deal available, even considering the challenges such as the out-of-business status of the seven marine engines, which would eventually require repowering.
I approached the client with a firm stance, highlighting that the engines were under warranty until the end of the year, and the deal offered a great boat with engines that were still supported. I emphasized that the warranty coverage ensured their investment was secure, and any future repowering could be planned accordingly.
It was at this moment that the deal was sealed, with no survey conducted, and we closed the deal in just three days. As we bid farewell to the iconic 2019 Intrepid 407 'JUICE' with twin Seven Marine 627 Hp engines, I extend heartfelt gratitude to our clients and partners for their unwavering support, fueling our commitment to excellence.
